Wa6 Final

Delta Force

It was November 14th, 2012 and it was a few days before the attack on the terrorist group of Al Alshad. He is planning a nuclear attack on the city of Baghdad on Nov. 17th. The general had chosen our group for a special reason, our team of marines were the most experienced team. The Delta team had helped take down some of the world’s best-known terrorists. “ On Nov. 17th, Al Alshad is planning to attack the city of Baghdad. We the marines have to stop this catastrophe.” Said Sgt. Griggs, the leader of the Delta team. After the briefing with General Stevenson on our mission, we took off in a C 130 Hercules towards the target city.
“Sgt., we have the landing point in sight sir,” said the pilot. Nine marines turned around, put on their armor and loaded their M4’s and magnum’s. Sgt. Griggs turned around and said “ lock and load marines. The pilot yelled “ ready to jump in 3,2,1 go, go, go.” The marines single filed jumped out of the plane heading to their destination. One by one the marines came sailing down to the target point on the outskirts of the city. The first marine hit the ground and immediately rips off his chute and scanning the area with his night vision goggles. The rest of the marines fell to the ground, ripping off their chutes and getting ready for combat. Griggs inspected the area and gave a signal to move out slowly and quietly. The marines followed Griggs to the projected area of Al Alshad. “ We have a view of 10- 20 tangos about one click to the north of you.” The pilot said. The marines moved quick and cautiously through out the city. Griggs gave the signal to stop. He threw himself behind a wall. Six to Seven insurgents walked across the street 20 yards a head of the team. Griggs signaled to switch to silencers. The next moment the marines snuck up on the insurgents and picked them off one by one. Sgt. radioed in to a helicopter observing the area “ Sir, we have the target building in sight.” “ There are 20 to 30 insurgents throughout the building.” He radioed back. The marines moved out towards the target.
Pvt. Johnson was the sniper of the group. He came to Griggs “ there are 4 guys on the roof with snipers, and seven at the front door with a turret.” Griggs replied “ take out those snipers on the roof, we will take out the rest.” “Sir yes sir” Johnson moved in to position with his R-700 bolt-action sniper rifle. One after another he picked them off.
The rest of the marines moved out to the parking lot in front of the building, dodging for cover. The insurgents opened fire, blasting thousands of bullets, striking one of the marines in the torso. "Delta Force to bravo, we're pinned down and we need air support." "Roger that." The helicopter came in launching a rocket and striking the turret and 3 others before having to pull up. “Grenade” yelled one of the marines. The grenade landed in the enemy bunker and blew the whole bunker up. "Move, Move, Move."
“Were in the building.” said Griggs. “ We are picking up a radio transmission from the top floor.” Said the pilot. As soon as they walked into the building loads of bullets came screaming by the marine’s heads. “ Smoke out” yelled Johnson. “ Go, go, go.” The marines moved forward shooting every enemy in the room. They quickly moved trough out the building scanning for Al Alshad. The team heard the sound of footsteps coming from a room around the corner. “ Stun Grenade out” yelled one of the marines. They stormed the room, not knowing that there was a RPG waiting for them. The rocket blew up the first marines as they approached. Al Alshad was right next to the RPG." Johnson to give me your sniper rifle" yelled Griggs. First went the RPG gunner then the man with the machine gun next to Al Alshad. The Sgt. saw Al Alshad running for the door at the end of the Balcony. He fired the last 3 shots of his clip. He quickly reloaded, “Target Down” Griggs said into his radio, pow he pulled the trigger. The next bullet struck Al Alshad right in the head. “ Were coming down in the parking lot.” The marines ran out to the parking lot. The chopper came down to pick them up. “ Well done marines.”
