Final Revision Wa5

We were about 30 minutes out from the airport as I prepared the plane for landing. When I looked up again, I noticed another plane coming at us fast. By the time that I had radioed the other plane, it was to late. I swerved to the right, away from the plane, but he was still to close. “Boom,” the next thing I knew we were spiraling out of control.
Our wings had collided and ripped off the tips. We had lost control and were free falling to the earth at a rapid speed. I turned to my passengers and told them to brace for landing. I began to open the landing gear. As I watched the ground come at me fast, I tried to hold the plane steady. I called into airport control and told them that I’m going to need emergency personnel. I yelled back to the passengers to put their heads between their legs for safety reasons and brace for landing. The ground came up fast. I applied the brakes, but right when we hit the ground the landing gear ripped off. We were skidding across the runway into a empty field. I tried to get every one out of the plane as fast as I could because I could smell gas fumes. Our plane burst into flames.
After evacuating the plane I checked the passengers for injuries, two concussions, a broken arm, and some minor cuts. I looked back in the distance and saw a big cloud of smoke. The other plane had crashed landed. No one survived. They found two bodies in the car lot next two the airport. The bodies were badly burned and scattered with the plane. The injured passengers were sent to a near by hospital. I put my hand on the back of my head and it was wet.I pulled it around and it was covered in blood. I had to get six stitches. It was lucky that we were alright.
