Nature 101
Today dudes is a day to respect nature and our surroundings. Hey Chad, Bro, chill, we can party later, but first we have to celebrate our environment . Nature is where we enjoy all of our good times. So in order to keep enjoying these times, we need to keep this place clean and safe. I mean dudes this is our life living outside, playing ultimate Frisbee, rugby, football, and yes our favorite PARTYING! “Yaaaaaaaa! Rock on.” Remember nature first, party later. We need to pick up trash in the yard and on the campus fields. We have to throw away our beer bottles, cups, food, plates, old ping-pong balls, broken furniture, and not throw up everywhere. We don’t want to play on a field that is covered in cups, and bottles. I know that I, Wes would not like to play on a field with broken glass and is covered in trash. Not only are there rules for the fields, but there are rules for partying too. 1. The losers of beer pong will be the DTP (designated trash picker upper). 2. All bottles, cups, and cans must be placed into the recycling bin after being drunken from or poured out. 3. Always keep the yard trash free. “What about beer kegs?” That is rule four. After a keg is fresh out of beer, the last person to drink from the keg is to put it beside the recycling. 5. After a game of beer pong all cups and empty bottles must be recycled. All of these rules, which were just stated, are going to be posted on the back of the front door. Our help is required to have a clean fun environment that people will want to come back to. To day is a day to get outside and enjoy the atmosphere, the trees, flowers, plants, animals, and to help keep these beautiful things alive by picking up trash. There is always another day to have a party my brothers. So for now lets get outside and play some Frisbee, or football, or just take a walk/run. We are Phi Sigma Pi and we help take care of our environment. Now get out there pick up that trash.

Sick Board Dude
I had just gone to the garage to get some new paint. I had a passion for painting graffiti on almost any flat surface I could find. It was my dream to become a sponsored designer/artist for a skateboarding or surfing company. I had always been inspired by the artist for birdhouse, or Becker surf boards. The details and the critiques that I put into my work brought many people and was attraction around town. I had just started working on this sick picture of a cross with praying hands in front of it. I got my inspiring thoughts from tattoos, magazines, and thoughts from some of my fans.
It was a bright sunny day at the skate park, where I usually print my work. Some of the skaters came up to me and asked me “ Do you design skateboards or something?” “ No, but I wish I could.” I said. I turned to look at the guy and I noticed that he wasn’t a skater it was Bucky Lasek. “ Hey man I seen some of your work around town and I was wondering if you would like to design a board for me to use at the X games.” “ Uh, Uh, you’ve left me speechless.” I replied. “ So is it a yes or a no.” he said. “ Ya I will do it.” “ Sounds good meet me at my place at 11:00 a.m. tomorrow.” As I walked home I couldn't believe what I had just heard,"Bucky Lasek wants ME to design his personal skateboard" I repeated.
I quickly finished my work and went to the store to load up on paint. The next morning I couldn’t wait till 11 so I had to go practice painting a design on the wall. I walked to the back of my apartment complex where I painted a picture of a all sorts of metal pipes and rods bent around each other into letters that said “ live free.” Eleven finally came and I was more then pumped to go to Bucky’s place. When I arrived he had drawn me a picture of what he wanted on it. It was a picture of a skeleton that is holding a bulldog at the end of a metal chain. It took me a couple of days working on it because it was my first board that I had completed. Black and white were the only colors that Bucky wanted on it. So that made it a little bit simpler.
A week later I was at the X games watching my board go up and down the ramp. Bucky seemed to be pleased with the board, that he put in a good word for me to Birdhouse boards. The next day I went to work for the first day at my new job as the head designer of graphics and art. I was creating the designs for Tony Hawk, Shaun white, and Mark Reynolds. These were the biggest names of skateboarding. The best of the best. They were the face of skateboarding and I was designing their skateboards for a living. It was the job of my dreams.

Delta Force

It was November 14th, 2012 and it was a few days before the attack on the terrorist group of Al Alshad. He is planning a nuclear attack on the city of Baghdad on Nov. 17th. The general had chosen our group for a special reason, our team of marines were the most experienced team. The Delta team had helped take down some of the world’s best-known terrorists. “ On Nov. 17th, Al Alshad is planning to attack the city of Baghdad. We the marines have to stop this catastrophe.” Said Sgt. Griggs, the leader of the Delta team. After the briefing with General Stevenson on our mission, we took off in a C 130 Hercules towards the target city.
“Sgt., we have the landing point in sight sir,” said the pilot. Nine marines turned around, put on their armor and loaded their M4’s and magnum’s. Sgt. Griggs turned around and said “ lock and load marines. The pilot yelled “ ready to jump in 3,2,1 go, go, go.” The marines single filed jumped out of the plane heading to their destination. One by one the marines came sailing down to the target point on the outskirts of the city. The first marine hit the ground and immediately rips off his chute and scanning the area with his night vision goggles. The rest of the marines fell to the ground, ripping off their chutes and getting ready for combat. Griggs inspected the area and gave a signal to move out slowly and quietly. The marines followed Griggs to the projected area of Al Alshad. “ We have a view of 10- 20 tangos about one click to the north of you.” The pilot said. The marines moved quick and cautiously through out the city. Griggs gave the signal to stop. He threw himself behind a wall. Six to Seven insurgents walked across the street 20 yards a head of the team. Griggs signaled to switch to silencers. The next moment the marines snuck up on the insurgents and picked them off one by one. Sgt. radioed in to a helicopter observing the area “ Sir, we have the target building in sight.” “ There are 20 to 30 insurgents throughout the building.” He radioed back. The marines moved out towards the target.
Pvt. Johnson was the sniper of the group. He came to Griggs “ there are 4 guys on the roof with snipers, and seven at the front door with a turret.” Griggs replied “ take out those snipers on the roof, we will take out the rest.” “Sir yes sir” Johnson moved in to position with his R-700 bolt-action sniper rifle. One after another he picked them off.
The rest of the marines moved out to the parking lot in front of the building, dodging for cover. The insurgents opened fire, blasting thousands of bullets, striking one of the marines in the torso. "Delta Force to bravo, we're pinned down and we need air support." "Roger that." The helicopter came in launching a rocket and striking the turret and 3 others before having to pull up. “Grenade” yelled one of the marines. The grenade landed in the enemy bunker and blew the whole bunker up. "Move, Move, Move."
“Were in the building.” said Griggs. “ We are picking up a radio transmission from the top floor.” Said the pilot. As soon as they walked into the building loads of bullets came screaming by the marine’s heads. “ Smoke out” yelled Johnson. “ Go, go, go.” The marines moved forward shooting every enemy in the room. They quickly moved trough out the building scanning for Al Alshad. The team heard the sound of footsteps coming from a room around the corner. “ Stun Grenade out” yelled one of the marines. They stormed the room, not knowing that there was a RPG waiting for them. The rocket blew up the first marines as they approached. Al Alshad was right next to the RPG." Johnson to give me your sniper rifle" yelled Griggs. First went the RPG gunner then the man with the machine gun next to Al Alshad. The Sgt. saw Al Alshad running for the door at the end of the Balcony. He fired the last 3 shots of his clip. He quickly reloaded, “Target Down” Griggs said into his radio, pow he pulled the trigger. The next bullet struck Al Alshad right in the head. “ Were coming down in the parking lot.” The marines ran out to the parking lot. The chopper came down to pick them up. “ Well done marines.”
